![]() Bullet proof coffee has been getting a lot of attention lately . I have drank coconut oil in my coffee for years but have never tried the whole butter thing and blending it in a blender. A lot of people's first thought is that it is going to make them fatter. Well here is some info on how will actually help with weight loss. Now I understand calorie restricted diets for a certain goal but overall healthy eating is not led by calorie restriction. We aren't adding just any kind of better it has to be butter from GRASS FED COWS. Butter from grass fed COWS is high in CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) CLA is linked to long term weight management and helps you lower body fat. It also combats: Cancer Asthma Inflammation High Blood Pressure Immune booster I can keep going... Coconut Oil is one the those go to products for everything. Here is just a few reasons why it may be a good idea to ad to your coffee: Boosts energy Prevents weight gain!! :-) Improves insulin secretion Prevents wrinkles ( yes please) 90% saturated fat ( yes we need healthy saturated fats in our diet) 50% lauric acid (this helps prevent high blood pressure and high cholesterol) Helps regulate thyroid and enzyme functions So here is the recipe we do: Per 2 cups hot coffee (organic is best) 1 tsp coconut oil 1 tsp grass fed butter 1 tbsp creamer 1 pack Stevia Put in vitamix for 20 sec middle speed. And it comes out foamy and is pretty amazing!! Eventually you can build your way up to adding more coconut oil and butter to your coffee if you like. It was filling and we definitely feel more of an energy boost when drinking coffee this way then just plain coffee.
