![]() Breakfast is usually the the most neglected meal of the day. So here is what we eat for breakfast that is quick and painless. Our go to breakfast is usually a protein shake. The protein powder we use is either Thorne research protein or designs for health protein. Designs for health offers a non denatured whey protein from grass fed cows. This has more nutrients then raw milk. Thorne offers a vegetable based multi nutrient protein powder. These are our two favorites ! We blend protein powder with either coconut or almond milk with a couple spoonfuls of either almond butter or peanut butter. We will also add in either chia seeds or flax seeds. Lastly some kale and ice. Throw it all in a vitamix and drink up. Another one of our favorites we eat all the time for breakfast are the U be livin smart nutrient dense karmaffins. A little info about these muffins: They are gluten free, peanut free, tree nut free, 4 grams of fiber, 1 serving of fruit and vegetable per muffin and 9 grams of protein. There is no flour, sugar, oil, salt, yeast, additives or colors. They come in a variety of flavors: Smoothie berry medley, belgian chocolate, orange cinnamon, and apple cinnamon. Dr. Austins favorite is the orange cinnamon. : They are so easy to grab and go!
