I have never tried to hide the fact in my practice that I am NOT a Dallas Cowboys fan. Which can get some eye rolls since my practice is in Dallas and I would guess that 95% of my patient base is. So today's blog is little more light hearted and me breaking the bad news to Cowboy's fans that you are not going to be any good any time soon. Ouch, did that hurt? For those of you thinking, we are already good or we had a really good year. GET REAL. You won one playoff game. My first reason why you are not going to be any good is because Jerry Jones is going to mishandle free agency this off season. That shouldn't be a shocker. But when you can't afford to keep the league's leading rusher, Murray, and one of the best receivers, Bryant, there are going to be difficult decisions to make. I think they should let Murray go, and go after Adrian Peterson. He's older, but running backs only last a few years in the NFL anyway and you can probably get Peterson on the cheap right now. But we will see what Jerry does. One good note, and kind of some insider information I have. I was getting my haircut last week next to Bruce Carter, we go to the same barbershop, and he seemed pretty confident he will resign with the Cowboys. But for the number one reason why the Cowboys won't be any good: Tony Romo's Back. He is one hit away from being done and there is no back up plan. I don't think he will make it through the full season next year, and I know something about backs. Here is an interview I recently did on The Sports Plus Show on Fox Sports Southwest on the topic.
