We have all heard small changes over a long time add up to something big. But sometimes we need a reminder, because when you are going day to day sometimes it is hard to step back and look at the big picture. Yesterday was Monday, so therefore it was my juice day. Meaning I do not eat any cooked food and I replace my meals with four 16oz organic cold pressed juices. For more info on how and why I do this every Monday click here. But there are many Mondays that I do not feel like doing it, actually almost every Monday. So I have to remind myself on why I do it. Yesterday I was just thinking to myself, while I was feeling a little sluggish and wished I had a coffee about this small change. So it is only one day a week, which is what I have to remind myself of often. But over the course of the year it is 52 days! I know what you are thinking, duh, it doesn't take a genius to figure that out. After all, there are 52 weeks in a year. But really think about it, 52 days! That is a lot! So 52 days a year I am giving my digestive system a break, letting my body recover, and nourishing it with fresh juice. Over a year, that is 208 16oz juices! Not counting all of the other juice I drink throughout my week. Small things do add up. Over a lifetime these continue to multiply. And the interest I earn on this small investment shows in my health. Make small investments now, reap the rewards later.
