During one of my recent corporate wellness talks, I had someone in the audience disagree with me. He may not have been the first person ever to disagree wit me but he was the first to verbally express it! The workshop was on nutrition and I was explaining the benefits of eating good saturated fats and explaining how the low fat and fat free diets are horrible. He had his mind set that saturated fats were bad, which that is what all of us have been led to believe over the years. That saturated fats raise cholesterol levels which in turn leads to heart disease. He was saying that the human body wasnt designed to consume saturated fats.
