One Word... SUGAR. If you can do one thing to drastically improve your health it is to dramatically decrease your sugar intake. Sugar is your absolute worst enemy. It fuels inflammation, which is a primary driver in many diseases including heart disease. It fuels cancer, mutated cancer cells thrive off of sugar and if you starve them from it they will die. It also raises your obesity and diabetes risk. How many more reasons do you need? Cut it out of your diet! Now sugar comes in many different forms. Not just table sugar like you might be thinking. It comes in the forms of white breads, pastas, alcohol, milk, processed foods. Sugar hides everywhere and your body metabolizes many things as sugar. Take a look at your diet, keep a week food diary, and sit down and remove the sugar. Your body will thank you for it, I promise.
