![]() I hear it once a week all day long. Ugh, Monday. I hate Mondays. If you scroll down facebook on a Monday almost every other post will be complaining about it being Monday. So we should just eliminate Monday's right? Well then we would just hate Tuesdays. But in all seriousness Monday's are 1/7 of our week, 1/7 of our month, and 1/7 of our year! That's 52 days a year! Everyday has the same opportunities, and the same challenges. Too often I see people who go their entire week looking forward to the weekend. Mondays are horrible, Tuesday blah, Wednesday hump day I can start to taste the weekend, Thursday we are almost there, Friday nothing productive is happening because I am already checked out. And finally what we all have been waiting for...Saturday and Sunday. Imagine how many days are wasted looking forward to something else. Someday I promise you, you will wish you had a few of those days back. Life is too short to dread your entire week. Life is also too short to not be doing something you like. You may not think you are in the service industry, but I bet if you look close enough at your day to day operations you can find tasks or objectives that you complete that in turn help others. Strive to do your best, strive to help others and your days will not be as dreadful. And remember the next time you start to complain about that first day of your work week, this day will never happen again in history. You will never have this day back., Once it is gone, it's gone. Make the most out of it, even
