Low Fat

   When you see the words Low Fat on the front of something, I want you to replace it with the words "Chemical S#@T Storm". For far too long people have been obsessed with eating Low Fat, with the mentality that Fat makes you Fat, which couldn't be further from the truth. Fat is essential to your health. When fat is removed from a product guess what it is replaced with? SUGAR, which will make you fat a lot faster than good saturated fats will. Now if your not so lucky and it's not replaced with sugar, it is replaced with a whole bunch of words that you can't even pronounce. So not only will you gain weight, but you now will get cancer too. Yippee.
   There have been many studies showing that people who consume more saturated fats are thinner. There was one study that showed people who drank whole milk over fat free were thinner. Now I don't promote drinking cow's milk anyway but just as an example. Not only that, but saturated fat is essential to your brain. Fifty four percent of human breast milk is made up of saturated fat. 
   So what's the fat you want to avoid? Trans Fats
   What are good sources of healthy Saturated fats?
    -Avocados 
    -Healthy oils like coconut oil and olive oil (don't heat olive oil too high, it goes rancid at high temps)
    -Nuts like almonds and cash
    -Butter!!! The real stuff!
   So what makes you fat then? Sugar and Carbs!!! Not Fat.
