Dr. Austin's Favorite Costco Items Right NOW!

I love when I get the question, "But isn't eating organic more expensive?". I bite my tongue and then say something like "Yes but it's an investment, not an expense." or "Have you priced cancer lately?" I can't take credit for that second one, I stole it fro Joel Salatin. But the reason I have to bite my tongue is because I think it's a dumb question, oh I forgot there are no dumb questions right? But the reason I think this one breaks that rule is because it's like me asking but isn't a Ferrari more expensive than a Ford? Of course it is, but you get what you pay for! With that said, I do get really excited when I find some of my favorite foods or products on sale or even better in bulk! All that to say that I found some good deals at Costco...

Shopping at Costco this weekend I found four products that are new to the warehouse. You have always been able to find these products at stores like Whole Foods, Sprouts, Natural Grocers, or by order but now you can stock up. So here are my top 4 Costco deals right now...

1) Zevia
If you have followed me for any length of time, you know that I love Zevia soda. And if you are a soda drinker trying to kick the habit you will love them too. So what's so bad about drinking regular soda? Well the sugar and the HFCS. But you drink diet? Then the artificial sweeteners like sucralose and aspartame. Zevia gives you sugar free soda without the artificial sweeteners, they use the all natural sweetener stevia. Costco has a case, four 6 packs 1 sixer of cola, 1 of root beer, 1 of cream soda, and 1 of ginger ale for $9.99! These usually cost $5.99 for a single six pack at Whole Foods, unless they are on sale.

2) Beanitos
I have been a loyal fan of Beanitos for a long time. I really don't know where to start, let me try to remember the day I fell in love with them. Beanitos are a great alternative to corn and potato chips. They really check all the boxes Corn free, Gluten free, High fiber, Complete protein, and Non GMO. Costco has a ginormous bag of them for $6.99, which is a steal for this kind of quality.

3) Honest Co. Shampoo & Body Wash
We initially started using Honest Co. when our daughter was born. We started just with their safe diapers that are free of a bunch of toxic chemicals. But we slowly branched out to their sunscreens, bug sprays, cleaning supplies, and their shampoo and body wash. Now I don't know if this shampoo and body wash is only suppose to be for kids and babies, but I use it too. And with this Costco bundle you can certainly justify it, it's a two pack of larger than normal (17 0z compare to 8.5) for $14.95. Honest Co has different pricing options because you can go on auto ship and bundle certain products, but I'll save you the time this is a great deal.

4) Perfect bar
Perfect Bars are amazing. In a world where you can almost never trust a protein or so called "health" bar, this one stands out. This will tell you something about the quality right off the bat, it has to be refrigerated. This bar not only tastes amazing, but also checks almost every box you can imagine, soy free, gluten free, non GMO, and high in good quality nutrients and protein. The box at Costco gets you 12 bars, 4 bars of 3 different flavors for $19.99. These sell at Whole Foods for $3 each, you can do the math.

So go stock up like a prepper!
