There are more technological advances today in medicine than ever before. More advanced imagining, and computers that can even perform surgery. Today there are more drugs on the market than ever before, there are more people on prescriptions than ever before. Healthcare costs have reached an all time high. Is the technology, easy access to drugs, and paying top dollar for healthcare yielding the results we deserve? Not even close! As a nation we are getting sicker. Heart disease rates go up every year. cancer rates are out of control. So do drugs equal health? Of course not! If they did the people that took the most drugs would be the healthiest right? It is the complete opposite, I have new patients that walk in to my office with freezer bags full of drugs, and they are the sickest people, barely holding on to their health. The patients I have that aren't on any drugs are by far the healthiest. The US is less than 5 percent of the world's population, yet we consume 75% of the world's drugs! Does that number not shock you? If it doesn't, check your pulse! If drugs were the answer wouldn't heart disease rates be getting better? There are more people on blood pressure drugs and cholesterol lowering medication than ever before. Shouldn't heart disease rates be going down? They aren't the answer!!! In fact, they end up causing more harm than good, with numerous side effects and serious health consequences. Healthcare costs are the number one cause of bankruptcy in this country, and now healthcare is the 3rd leading cause of death among Americans. It is time you start saying NO. Newsweek titled an issue a few years ago, the one word that could save your life...NO!
One of the keys to our highly effective treatment is whole body vibration. Whole body vibration has been shown to have many health benefits. The main thing we use them for in the office is to train new posture but all the other health benefits are just a bonus. Our patients love it, they feel better and it's fun. The one thing you have tyo watch out for with WBV is getting an inferior product at trade shows or other similar venues. The vibration has to be set at a specific hertz and frequency. Our WBV units are medical grade and set at the correct frequency. Here are some health benefits you can expect from WBV therapy...
All of which contribute to keeping you looking younger, fitter, and more vital
Besides these benefits, whole body vibration has also been found to help
Many people have been asking me why am i upset with Whole Foods about canola oil, I thought it was good for you? Heart healthy? Wrong! That is what industry has lead you to believe. You see there is no such thing as a canola plant, I run in to quite a few people who believe there is. Canola oil was developed from rape seed ... which is considered unsuited to human consumption because it contains a long-chain fatty acid called erucic acid, which under some circumstances is associated with fibrotic heart lesions. Canola oil was bred to contain little if any erucic acid and has drawn the attention of nutritionists because of its high oleicacid content. but there are some indications that canola oil presents dangers of its own. it has a high sulphur content and goes rancid easily ... during the deodorizing process, the omega 3 fatty acids of processed canola oil are transformed into trans fatty acids. Not to mention that over 90% of Canola Oil is genetically modified (GMO). GMO's have been directly linked to Cancer.
Sorry It has been a couple of weeks since the last time I blogged. We have been busy! On my last radio show we were talking about back pain and spinal surgeries. Adnd like every show, I only report medical peer reviewed research. That means medical doctors researching about their own field. Not chiropractors. and I had a guy call the office line, not the live call in radio line, and harass my front desk. He kept saying that i was probably just mad because I couldn't have got in to medical school. And that I hate the medical profession. Both of these accusations are completely false. First, being raised in the chiropractic lifestyle by my father who is a chiropractor, I have never had any intention to go to medical school. More and more people are seeking alternatives to the only answers the medical industry can give them...Drugs or surgery. I wouldn't think of being any other kind of doctor. Well maybe a plastic surgeon! Just kidding! But honestly I couldn't imagine pushing pills all day and having no other answers for people. Second, trust me irrate caller, I could have gotten in and gotten through medical school. There are medical schools now that give chiropractors a head start and don't make you relearn stuff we have already been taught, making it a lot shorter. But again, I have no desire, I already have a license to practice in the field I want. Third, I do NOT hate the medical profession, and I have my own doctor, we have a pediatrician for our daughter. But we chose our docotrs wisely and carefully, and they do not immediately jump to drugs. The thing is, if I got hit by a car, I wouldn't want to go see my chiropractor. I would want you to take me to ER, where doctors who are trained to save lives in life threatening situations are there. But crisis care and healthcare are two very different things. And there is not a single medical doctor that wouldn't agree with me that we aren't over medicated and over prescribed. They have overstepped their boundaries and do not deliver a safe everyday health system for people to rely on. But for the caller who questioned my education and qualifications, this is for you....
